The Finland-Japan Chamber of Commerce and Northlink Partners have partnered to deliver more value to FJCC members. The collaboration will include increased events, more active communications, and more engaged community management.
The partnership, born after talks between the FJCC board and Northlink following a successful joint event hosted in October 2025, promises an active 2026 for FJCC.
Contents of the Partnership
In practice, the partnership between FJCC and Northlink promises several events per quarter:
- Thematic events bringing together speakers and stakeholders from Finland and Japan
- Members-only social gatherings to promote inter-member relations and knowledge-sharing
- Startup-related events to help support the next generation of Finnish businesses to successfully connect with Japan
Through the partnership, FJCC will also be launching a members-only newsletter. The newsletter will feature updates about upcoming events, business and collaboration opportunities, member interviews and insights, and more. Some of these posts will also be shared on FJCC’s public LinkedIn.
Lastly, Northlink will be conducting active community outreach on behalf of FJCC during the year. Through direct contact, Northlink will be mapping out members’ needs and wishes from the chamber, in order to continuously improve the FJCC’s service to its existing members, and attractiveness to new members of all kinds.
Next Steps
The first events of the year will be held in February and March 2026, with more details to be released soon, and the newsletter will be launched in early February. Member outreach is expected to begin shortly thereafter.
The FJCC board believes that Northlink’s youthful drive and enthusiasm will help 2026 be a memorable year for the organisation and its members, and looks forward to hearing members’ feedback on the partnership and its resulting activities.
