About Us

The Finland-Japan Chamber of Commerce (FJCC) is dedicated to strengthening economic ties, facilitating business opportunities, and promoting mutual understanding between Finland and Japan.

We support our members through networking, advocacy, and knowledge-sharing to drive sustainable growth in both markets.

In our annual program the FJCC empowers Finnish and Japanese businesses to thrive through trusted partnerships, cultural exchange, and innovative solutions. We aim to bridge the gap between the two economies by offering networking platforms, expert guidance, and strategic support.

Over 40 Years of Connecting Finland and Japan

The Finland-Japan Chamber of Commerce was established in 1981. For over four decades, the Chamber has supported Finnish businesses in navigating opportunities, building networks, and establishing partnerships in the Japanese market. Over the years, it has built a trusted network of business leaders, market specialists, and local experts to help companies succeed in both markets. This strong community continues to be one of the Chamber’s greatest strengths.

A Century of Friendship and Business

Diplomatic relations between Finland and Japan were officially established in 1919, marking the beginning of formal commercial and economic cooperation. These ties have continued to grow over the decades. In 2020, the implementation of the Japan-EU Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) further strengthened bilateral trade, offering new opportunities and benefits for both countries.
